Burning Nightmare Hounds
The dream was almost entirely black and red. There were possessed wolves on my ship, and when I couldn’t kill them, I jumped from the broken loading bay into the night.
(Digital)
As far as nightmares go, this one was so basic it hardly counts. I spent most of it more afraid of my propensity for motion sickness than of demons.
The Final Ace of Cups
Progress on the Tarot moving slowly forward. I think Death is next and then I’ll do the Ace of Wands and the Ace of Swords.

Drawn while finishing Supernatural Season 6 and listening to Small Gods.
Illuminated Rogers
I like Carl Rogers. He's a warm, kind, human kinda human. I like his approach to helping people. It’s thoughtful and based in the efficacy of authentic connections.
(Pencil on a page from On Becoming a Person; Digital overlay)
There are a lot of things I find baffling about the education necessary to become a therapist, but Rogers is not one of those things.
Ace of Cups In Progress
I try to be reasonable about the Tarot, but I'm not terribly fond of Pentacles or Cups.

Lies, Lies, Lies, and More Lies
The best kind are the ones you tell yourself. Like when I wrote that I would absolutely not miss any more days of writing. Of course not. I would never.
