Five of Pentacles

The pencils for this one have been lying on my desk* for a week and a half. I set it aside to finish up the inks on the High Priestess for the Changeling show, because Erik had one and I wanted to hang our shared cards together.

It was making my brain itchy to know it was just sitting there, waiting, and I'm happy to be done with it.

* “desk” in this case meaning “the coffee table from which I can binge watch my premium quality entertainment while drawing.”

(Ink on Paper, see more in the Tarot Gallery)

I think this was my plan from the beginning… but I drew it in May, so who fuckin’ knows. It took me all of seven minutes to correct, so it is an absolute mystery why I didn’t just do it then.

(The only portion I changed)

Exhaustion seems likely.
